Like my other review pretty similar ones I bought that are a one piece with the hook I really like them the quality of the metal is great considering the price. That being said the post on one of these was bent and I was afraid to bend it back, but they did OK and as long as you don’t bend them to many times you’ll be fine. I did determine that if I did break the posts off accidentally, it seems I could just use my jewelry making gadgets to put regular earring hooks on it by attaching through the metal hole-work; would look fine?? On my other black pair (which is the same material, but a 1pc medallion w/‘fish’ style ‘hooks’) I did notice when I went to wear them today; the metal of 1 medallion’s bottom ‘tip’ was a little bit bent at the end (from wearing them yesterday apparently?) I’m not sure what I did ? but it would’ve taken a ‘little bit’ of forced to bend it, so maybe I sat on it or something? But I WAS able to ‘carefully’ bend it back. It ‘could’ have arrived like that, but I don’t believe so. The Figaro design on the metal may not be absolutely ‘perfect’ so keep that in mind: There was 1 spot, on 1 earring; where a part of the scrollwork wasn’t connected completely, making a complete loop..but I didn’t notice it until I’d worn them a few times & was really checking them out to review. Alas, I was Thrilled with these for the price (just two dollashipping ) they are super cute and lightweight! Oh also there was not an annoying metallic ‘clanking’ sound like some of my earrings have ??Paint seems reliable?? Will definitely be seeking more!
